We sat down with the owner/co-founder of Senza Gluten Restaurant, Teona Khaindrava, to answer more of your questions!

“Do you get a lot of customers that don’t eat gluten free?”

We do! We often seat walk-ins who stumbled upon our restaurant by chance and have since returned multiple times. Also, most of our gluten free guests come with friends who regularly eat gluten. Occasionally we see the non-GF family members of a regular group who have come without their GF loved one. Their GF loved one wasn’t available, but this is where they wanted to have dinner! 

“Will you be expanding your menu or consider having daily or weekly specials?”

We are always considering new dishes to add to our menu. We often consider how we can accommodate individuals with additional food restrictions and how we can continue to create a diverse menu to suite all needs and tastes. We have specials every day depending on the season and availability of ingredients. Some of our most popular specials include fresh burrata (imported from Italy) with cherry tomatoes, drizzled with aged balsamic vinegar and served with toasted garlic bread. Also tortellini with pesto, mushroom ravioli, and lemon tiramisu. Many of our very popular specials have made their way onto our regular menu include our transitional carbonara and Sicilian cannoli.

“Have you had anyone famous at the restaurant?”

Yes, we’ve had many famous people dine with us from local broadway stars to international celebrities. Occasionally they offer to take a picture with us at the end of their meal, but our priority is always to respect their privacy and help each and every person have a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience.
